Feldenkrais Resources Training Institute is excited to present a two-day, live on-line Advanced Training with David Zemach-Bersin, on how to use the movements of the spine, mouth, eyes and tongue to access important neural patterns in Functional Integration and Awareness Through Movement.
This is uniquely potent approach because the movements of the eyes, mouth and tongue have functional relationships with the movements of our spine, and deep roots in our evolutionary history. Primitive dynamics and basic action patterns of this sort existed long before homo sapiens appeared, yet are still present in our brain today and essential to our development, organization, ease of movement and well-being.
This workshop will be taught via Zoom, and will include live and filmed Functional Integration demonstrations. It will meet four hours a day, for two days in a row. We hope this will be an ideal schedule with ATMs interspersed to make the screen time more comfortable. In addition to class time, David will spend additional time answering all questions.
You will learn how to communicate with the older, lower and more reflexive parts of the brain in order to re-organize vital aspects of posture, movement, and action. David is excited to share this material with you. The workshop will include Awareness Through Movement lessons to help you restore your own ‘primordial connections’ and Functional Integration examples to potentiate your work as a Feldenkrais Practitioner.
David’s Primordial Connections workshop was a profound and immediate learning experience. Take advantage of this exceptional opportunity to grow your skills.”
