With Cliff Smyth.
Balance is one of those essential skills that are mostly invisible until it is challenged. This workshop explores how we can enhance our perception of gravity – graviception, and the effects of gravity on and through the body.
Our capacity for balance requires fine spontaneous coordination between all the joints of the body from the ground up, along with movements of the eyes, and an easy organization of our front and back, and each side.
In this workshop Cliff Smyth will use a mix of explorations and Awareness Through Movement lessons in lying, standing and walking to stimulate variability and integration.
Find a light, easy ‘up’ orientation that allows you to step out into the world with greater confidence.
