Movement Intelligence: Solutions for Optimal Mobility – Part III
At this Fall’s Solutions for Optimal Mobility Berkeley workshop Ruthy Alon will cover very special material. During the first two days, Ruthy will cover material on Squatting and the Face. During the subsequent two days, she will complete material from Solutions I & II workshops. During the last day, Ruthy will set up the beginning of the new format for the professional Mentor’s Certification of Solutions Didactic. This format will provide the clarity, skills and knowledge to responsibly deal with the many vulnerabilities that people present. Everyone is welcome to join, including this day of the beginning of the Certification process or Didactic. A large part of the Certification process will take place after this workshop in small working groups with the supervision of a trainer. Those missing some of the earlier themes, can participate and learn the material in the working groups and complete the learning with a trainer later on.
All are welcome to begin teaching the material they have covered as part of their training to become Mentors, under the name – Movement Intelligence Solutions for Optimal Mobility, created by Ruthy Alon based on Feldenkrais approach to Somatic Learning.
We are thrilled to present Ruthy Alon and her newest workshop, Solutions for Optimal Mobility, Part III. Ruthy is an internationally recognized, master Feldenkrais Trainer. Because she lives in Israel, this is a rare opportunity to study with her in person. This workshop explores new themes and a variety of functional problems. Participants will explore a range of innovative neuro-motor processes and learn easily applicable self-care strategies to address common movement related issues. These will include facial tension, balance and posture, sitting and squatting, and pelvic floor health.
Ruthy Alon believes that learning awakens the biological intelligence of the organism. Her approach is designed to help us to free ourselves from the limitations of our automatic habits, and restore our ability to make healthy sensory-kinesthetic differentiations. It supports us in developing trust in our own individual sensory integrity.
All are welcome to attend! Solutions for Optimal Mobility, Part III is open to everyone.

Guiding people to master the solutions independently is like teaching people how to fish, rather than giving them a fish.”
