Special Master Class with Mia Segal

We are very proud to announce the continuation of the special Feldenkrais Resources Training Institute Master Class Program with Mia Segal in Berkeley, California. You have the option to participate in the full 10-day program or only 5 days. Priority will be given to those attending the full 10-day workshop.

Mia Segal was Dr. Feldenkrais' first assistant, collaborator and associate. Mia is known worldwide for her unequalled mastery of the work and as a superb teacher. The design of her programs is continually updated with current scientific research including the Feldenkrais Method's affect on behavior, brain regeneration and self-image. At the same time, the program content stays firmly connected to the foundations of the Feldenkrais Method.

Mia is committed to continue the path which was developed with her and in her presence by Dr. Feldenkrais during their many years of collaboration and friendship.

Mia often teaches with her daughter, Leora Gaster, who was brought up with this work, grew up in Moshe's presence, and has been mentored for many years by Mia. Leora has been an intrinsic part of developments and applications of the work, continuously keeping it within the context of scientific research. Both Mia and Leora received black belts in Judo, with special honors, from the Kodokan, Tokyo, in 1970.

This Post Graduate Program includes the MBS Academy's distillation and applications of the Core Principles® of the Feldenkrais Method as well as the following aspects:

Cancellations/Refunds: Full refunds are available minus a $75 administrative fee, provided we receive your written notice at least 21 days before the start date of the training. After the deadline, FRTI will only credit your tuition, minus the administrative fee, towards a future advanced training or workshop.
